Erin, Ricky's girlfriend, has been treating us to this delicious dip for the last six months or so and I really thought it was time to get her to share it with you.
The "zippy" taste will add a unique selection to your regular appetizer repertoire.
I am so pleased to share with you a delightful recipe from a wonderful girl that brings us so much delight!
Ingredients:
3 chicken breasts
1 bottle of Frank's hot sauce
1 jar of light blue cheese dressing ( I prefer Naturally Fresh. It can be found in the produce section)
1 - 12 oz container of reduced fat cream cheese
Shredded cheddar cheese
1 jalapeño
Directions:
I salt and pepper three chicken breasts and bake at 350 for about 25 min or you can pan fry them.
I chop up the chicken breasts in small chunks or cubes.
Line a baking dish with the cut up cooked chicken and pour an entire bottle of franks hot sauce on top.
In a separate sauce pan combine blue cheese dressing and cream cheese on medium heat until creamy (stir often).
Pour mixture on top of chicken and hot sauce.
Bake for 30 min.
Slice one jalapeño (I remove the seeds)
Spread shredded cheddar cheese on top of mixture and place jalapeños on top of that.
Bake for an additional 15 min or until cheese is melted or browned (depending how you like it)
Let sit for a few minutes. It will be super hot! Serve with scoops :)
