Ellen's Pumpkin Crunch Desert

My neighbor and good friend Ellen brought this dish to a dinner at our house. It was Dee-lish-us. Are you a pumpkin lover? Try this one!!

16 oz can solid packed pumpkin
1 can evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup melted butter
whipped topping

Combine pumpkin, milk, egg sugar, spice and salt.
Pour mixture into a prepared 13 x 9 pan.
Sprinkle dry cake mix over the mixture followed by nuts.
Finally drizzle with melted butter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
Serve with whipped topping.
