Crazy Crunchy Baked Parmesan Chicken

I've been cruising Pinterest again. I found a recipe that looked good and with a few adaptions could utilize the spaghetti sauce "left over" in my refrigerator. it turned to be a "win, win". We had a great dinner and avoided wasting the sauce.

3 boneless, skinless chicken breast
olive oil
minced garlic
red pepper flakes (optional)
shredded mozzarella cheese
grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups spaghetti sauce
1 bag of garlic or garlic cheese crouton

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Drizzle enough oil in an 8" x 8" baking dish to cover bottom (approximately a tablespoon or two).
Sprinkle minced garlic into the oil (approximately a tablespoon or two) and a light sprnkling (optional) of red pepper flakes. Top oil mixture with the chicken breasts. Top the chicken with 2 cups of spaghetti sauce. Top sauce with mozzarella cheese (approximately 5 oz.) and a thins layer of Parmesan cheese (approximately 1/2 cup). Now the crazy part ... top the dish with entire bag of crouton.

Cover dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour. (Cooking time will vary depending on the size and temperature of the chicken breasts. I recommend testing with an oven thermometer.)

Any extra sauce, heat in a saucepan and serve with your chicken!
