Cheese Dip

This ridiculously simple recipe was given to me by a neighbor LeeAnn in Seffner. It is not only easy to make but includes ingredients I usually have on hand. Be careful it can be addictive!!
  
1 pound shredded sharp cheddar cheese
mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
finely diced onion (I prefer sweet onion)

Place cheese and onion in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise until  mixture is moist.
Transfer to a oven proof serving bowl.
Bake at 350 degrees or microwave stirring occasionally until cheese has melted.
Serve with crackers, toast, or bread.
