Creamy Peppermint Eggnog

This is a perfect holiday punch. It is easy and tasty!! Why wait for Christmas. It is so good you can serve it anytime of the year!
I received this recipe from my friend Linda Jones. We see eye to eye on recipes.

- 1 quart eggnog
- 1 liter club soda (very important cold)
- 1/2 gallon peppermint ice cream (allowed to sit out of the freezer long enough to soften)
- crush peppermint candy (garnish)

Stir together the 1st three ingredients in a punch bowl, sprinkle the crushed candy over the punch bowl and serve immediately.

If you want to make in advance be sure to store in the refrigerator and don't add the candies until the last minute.

Feeling festive?? Another nice touch is to hang candy canes around the rim of the bowl.
