My mom brought this fun appetizer to a recent Christmas celebration. Everyone enjoyed it!!
2 - 8oz packages of cream cheese
2 - 8oz packages of refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg - beaten
1 oz. dry ranch dressing mix
1 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh broccoli
1/2 cup finely chopped cauliflower
1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
Unroll crescent roll on a baking sheet.
Lightly press perforations to seal.
Brush dough with beaten egg.
Bake at 375 degrees until golden (11 minutes).
Cool!
Blend cream cheese, mayo, and dry dressing mix.
Spread mixture on cooled crust.
Top with veggies and cheddar cheese.
Cut into small squares. (I prefer bite size but I have also seen this served larger.)
