Panko Crusted Fish Sticks


Remember fish sticks when you were a child? Well here's the grow up version.

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds tilapia filers
  • 2 cups of panko style bread crumbs
  • cooking spray
Cut the fish into pieces the size of fish sticks (size works with cooking time).
Combine in a shallow bowl the egg, onion powder salt and pepper beat until foamy).
Place bread crumbs in a separate shallow bowl.
Dip fish sticks into egg then bread crumbs. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spray fish sticks with cooking spray.
Bake at 450 degrees until brown (12 - 15 minutes).
