Praline Sweet Potato Casserole


The holidays wouldn't be the same with out this dish. Debbie Crawford taught me this recipe many years ago. Now it is tradition!!

3 medium sweet potatoes (peeled, cubed and boiled)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs (beaten)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup milk

Topping:
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Once sweet potatoes are tender combine with the white sugar, 1/2 cup butter, eggs, vanilla and milk using an electric mixer. Whip until smooth. Place in an oven proof casserole dish.

Combine the topping ingredients and top the sweet potato mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
