Cherry Dessert

My mother has made this recipe for years. I remember her making it for her card club and book club. It is tasty especially if you like cream cheese.

Crust:
1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup sugar

Topping:
8 ounces cream cheese
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup sugar
1 envelope Dream Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Combine the crust ingredients. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 13" x 9" baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Allow crust to cool.

Beat together the cream cheese and 3 tablespoons of milk. Add one cup of sugar.

In  a separate bowl prepare Dream Whip per the instructions on package. Gently fold Dream Whip into the cream cheese mixture, Spread evenly over the cooled crust and top with cherry pie filling.

Store in refrigerator until ready to serve and if you have any left overs!
