Curried Fruit Slad

This dish was served at a church luncheon. The flavor is so unique. If you like the flavor of curry you will like this unusual selection.

2 large cans (21 oz) sliced pineapple (drained)
2 large cans (21 oz) pear halves (drained)
2 cups dark brown suagr
1 cup butter
3 tablespoons curry powder

Melt butter and combine with curry powder and sugar, mixing well.
Pour the butter mixture over the drained fruit in an oven proof dish.
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook 30 - 45 minutes.
Serve warm!
