Luscious Banana Pudding

This is not just banana pudding. It is an experience. One experience you'll want to repeat often. Kelli Wolf Nichols blessed me with this recipe and I'm always looking for an excuse to make it.

14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups of ice cold water
1 - 3.4 oz. box of vanilla pudding mix
3 cups of heavy cream
12 oz. Nilla Vanilla Wafers
4 cups of sliced, ripe bananas

In a small bowl use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat together the sweetened condensed milk and water for 1 minute. Add the vanilla pudding mix and beat another 2 minutes. Cover the bowl and refrigerate until set (minimum 3 hr to over night).

After the pudding is set, in a large bowl beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium speed until stiff peaks form. Gently fold pudding into the whipped cream until there are no longer pudding streaks.

In a glass bowl arrange on the bottom 1/3 of the wafers and 1/3 of the banana slices.
Top with 1/3 of the pudding. Repeat process of layering ending with pudding.
Cover with plastic wrap. Chill 4 - 8 hours. Serve!!
