Old Fashion Hot Chicken Luncheon Casserole

As a child I remember this as a favorite of my aunts. It was served for showers, card club, book club, etc.
They liked to have salad luncheons and coupled this casserole with a variety of salads including jello salads. I don't know if it was just Pennsylvania or the 70's but it was popular in my family.

cooked cubed chicken (recipe didn't list a quantity but I'd say 4 cups)
1 can cream of noodle soup
2 tablespoons minced dried onion
1 cup mayonnaise (not miracle whip)
1 lunch size bag of potato chips (crushed)

Combine chicken, soup, dried onions and mayo. place mixture in a casserole (approx. 12" x 6").
Top the casserole with crushed chips.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 -45 minutes (until bubbly).
