Seaside Shortcakes

I found this recipe on one of those days I was in the mood for something different.
It fit the bill and has the feeling of a special meal.
Plus, it is quick and easy.
I believe this was adapted from a Pillsbury Cook Off recipe.

10.2 oz can Grands Buttermilk Biscuits
1/2 cup white wine or  3/4 cup milk
16 oz. jar Alfredo Sauce
8 oz tub cream cheese w/ chive/onions
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 pound medium shrimp, cleaned
6 oz. can crab meat (drained)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Bake biscuits per package instructions.

Meanwhile heat wine/apple juice in a large skillet for about 3 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium and add Alfredo sauce, cream cheese, peas, shrimp and crab meat.
Cook 8 - 10 minutes stirring to combine.

Split baked biscuits and place on a serving dish.
Cover bread with the shrimp/crab meat mixture.
Top with shredded cheese.
