Sausage Bites


Oh my ... this could not be any easier! I made it yesterday for Mother's Day and it passed the taste test!
You can customize it to the taste of your family by varying the variety of sausage. Make it spicier with hot sausage. Make it healthier with turkey sausage!

12 -16 oz package of sausage
8 oz. package of cream cheese
2 packages of refrigerated crescent rolls


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cook sausage in a skillet until no longer pink and crumbled.
Add the cream cheese stirring until melted.
Unroll the crescents and separate the dough into rectangles. Seal the perforations. Cut the dough both length and width - resulting in four sections per rectangle.
Place on each section a table spoon of the sausage mixture and fold over the dough.
Bake on a baking sheet until brown (10 -15 minutes).
